CubiScan 200-LC

Simplicity and flexibility are some valuable considerations in today’s ever-increasing world of automation and technology. The light-curtain-based CubiScan 200-LC is flexible—positioned at the beginning of a conveyor system where manual loading and start/stop operation might be required, or positioned downstream for fully automated in-line applications. It can measure freight in any orientation, and uses proven infrared emitter/receiver technology to “see” a parcel’s overall dimensions. This simple, yet sophisticated “full coverage” sensing technique provides robust and reliable dimensioning performance.

Features

One of the 200-LC’s foremost features is its modularity. It can be tailored to fit your conveyor and your package needs—not a one-size fits all approach. Have a narrow conveyor and don’t need a big system? No problem. The LC is scalable and can be configured in one, two, three, or four foot sections to provide the capacity you want—at a price you can live with. The CubiScan 200-LC is reliable and built to perform in the toughest industrial environments. And if problems occur, modular replacement parts can be removed and replaced in minutes. Cleaning is easy and, once in place, the system never needs recalibration. In addition to its flexibility, reliability and ease of use, the CubiScan 200-LC is accurate and costs a fraction of the price of traditional conveyorized cubing systems. Simply put, the CubiScan 200-LC is right on the money—it’s an accurate and economical way to cube “on the fly.”

No Conveying Equipment or In-line Scale?

In cases where a facility has no conveying equipment, or if you’re starting from the ground up, Quantronix can install conveyor with an LC system attached. As well, weighing functionality can be added with a separate but integrated in-motion conveyor or static (dead-roller) scale. Bar code scanning equipment can also be included, giving you a complete turnkey cubing, weighing, and identification/tracking station.
