The CubiScan 225 delivers a powerful dimensioning solution for challenging applications such as on-demand box making and measuring large odd shaped items and boxes for distribution, packaging and warehousing applications. CubiScan 225 Specifications

The CubiScan 225 has a measurement capacity up to 24 x 24 x 60 inches with a resolution of 0.05 inches and a minimum required interval between each object of only six inches. There are also extended versions available that can measure up to a 96 inch length capacity. This in-line dimensioning system for irregular shapes also includes an integrated conveyer with a variable speed of 10 to 60 feet per minute. CubiScan’s proprietary software, Qbit™, delivers menu-driven operator controls, data storage/transfer and diagnostics, all with a handy touchscreen interface.

The CubiScan® 200-TS is an integrated in-motion dimensioning and weighing system. This dual functionality, in one concise footprint, gives you the power to quickly measure and weigh your parcels on-the-fly. Using infrared light-technology, the 200-TS is an efficient and reliable solution for manifesting or re-weigh applications.

The CubiScan 200-TS is offered in three and four foot belt widths, each with a five foot length capacity—facilitating a wide range of conveyable freight. It also incorporates multiscale technology in one weighing platform, allowing more than one package on the scale at a time—thereby reducing parcel intervals to under 28 inches. These features, when combined with the rapid operating speed of 230 feet (70 meters) per minute, allow the system to keep up with your throughput requirements, preventing in-motion weighing from creating a bottleneck.

Integration and Interfacing

The CubiScan 200-TS’ performance is complemented by its powerful user and data interfacing capabilities. The system comes standard with a color active-matrix display which provides numerous operating statistics and diagnostics while providing convenient touch-screen controls. With customized software programming, it can easily interface to and be
synchronized with barcode scanning equipment, label printing devices, and shipping/manifesting, invoicing, or warehouse management system software.

The CubiScan® 210-SS is a new generation “above-the-belt” in-motion dimensioning system which can quickly be installed above existing flat (powered) conveyor belt, thus eliminating the need to breach a conveyor to “drop in” a cubing system. The 210-SS uses modular components allowing service to be simple, quick and inexpensive. It is also type-approved for legal-for-trade applications in the U.S., Canada and the European Union. Several versions (including custom configurations) are available for economical, high-precision and non-cuboidal applications.

Features

The CubiScan 210-SS is a lower-cost single sensor system for dimensioning cuboidal items that requires less-demanding accuracy. It is particularly well suited for high-speed distribution and sortation applications where efficiency and cost reduction are the primary objectives.

The CubiScan 210-SS sensor use Class 2 laser technology to measure object length, width and height. The sensor has a self-contained controller for measurement operation and communication output. The system is capable of interfacing to optional scale, bar code scanning and label printing devices, and can communicate with mainframe or PC hosts using Quantronix’ powerful yet flexible Qbit™ user and data interface software.

No conveying equipment, or in-line scale?

In cases where a facility has no conveying equipment, or if you’re starting from the ground up, Quantronix can install conveyor with a 210-SS system. As well, weighing functionality can be added with a separate but integrated in-motion conveyor or static (dead-roller) scale. Barcode scanning equipment can also be included, giving you a complete turnkey cubing, weighing, and identification/tracking station.
